| LAURIE NOREN is Vice President-Controller at Lupe Development. Her varied background includes experience with office management, human resources, and financial planning. She has over twenty years of Twin Cities area office experience and brings a wide and varied number of skills to Lupe. She holds a BS in Business Administration, an MS in Accounting and Financial Management, and has recently achieved her CPA designation.
Professional Responsibilities
Laurie is responsible for Funds Management, Human Resources and Project Accounting. She is also extremely involved in the Property Management function of our management enterprise. Laurie has taken Lupe Development from the dark ages of single entry bookkeeping to a fully integrated real-time accounting system. She has also managed the information technology transition, bringing Lupe Development into a state-of-practice data and network-administered environment. All administrative and support functions report through Laurie.
Community Involvement
Laurie enjoys musical performance, reading, and weekends “at the lake.” She has two young adult children. Volunteering is important to Laurie, and she has been active with food shelf support, serving meals at shelters and driving for meals on wheels. She is an amateur musician and has sung with Minnesota Chorale, Minnetonka Choral Society, Good Samaritan Singers, as well as several other small music groups and bands.
