| LUCY BROWN MINN is CEO and Principal of Lupe Development Partners, LLC. She has over 20 years of marketing and managerial experience related both to residential real estate and marketing. Lucy began her career in the Twin Cities as a sales and marketing executive at KSTP. She joined Lupe in 1994. Under Lucy’s direction, Lupe has evolved from a small property “mom & pop” landlord into a full service property development firm. She initiated multiple life cycle renovations of portfolio holdings, acting as the general contractor for each project. Her specialty is in property marketing and positioning.
Professional Experience
Lucy holds a BS in Public Communications from Syracuse University. She has over 20 years experience building relationships in communities with city inspectors, university housing officials, neighborhood and city council office stakeholders and local police. Lucy’s professional experience includes renovation of dilapidated acquisitions, site assembly and project management of renovation activities. She has managed several property “turnarounds” and leads the leasing/marketing activities for Lupe’s rental properties.
Professional Responsibilities
As President and Chief Executive Officer, Lucy directs the property operations, design, communication, marketing and leasing aspects of the business. Direct reports in the organization include property management, maintenance, architectural, marketing, advertising and public relations.
Community Involvement Giving back to the community is part of responsible public development. Lucy has managed to meld her passion for fine art & design with her expertise in property management. She has actively volunteered in the Art Masterpiece/Art Adventure community education outreach program of the Minneapolis Institute of Art. As an active member of the Burroughs PTO she volunteered as both a reading tutor and volunteer art instructor for elementary grades. She currently is in her fifth year as a member of the ArtSpace, Inc. Board of Directors, where she serves on the Asset Management Committee. Lucy and Steve have two boys, Alexander and Zachary.
